Effective date: 04 September 2026
1. Introduction and acceptance of terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the services, training, products, facilities, advice, and related support provided by HoneyHaven Apiaries Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). By requesting, booking, accessing, or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our services.
These Terms apply to all clients, customers, trainees, landowners, farm operators, orchard owners, and any other persons or organisations engaging HoneyHaven Apiaries Ltd for apiculture-related services.
2. Scope of services
HoneyHaven Apiaries Ltd provides apiculture and bee-related services, which may include, without limitation:
- Hive inspections and colony health checks;
- Honey harvesting and extraction;
- Queen rearing and colony breeding;
- Pollination services for farms and orchards;
- Beekeeping training and beginner workshops;
- Swarm removal and relocation;
- Hive setup, maintenance, and seasonal support.
Any description of services, estimates, schedules, reports, recommendations, or outcomes provided by us are based on reasonable professional judgment and available conditions at the time of service. We do not guarantee specific yields, colony productivity, pollination outcomes, honey volume, bee temperament, weather-dependent results, or disease-free status unless expressly agreed in writing.
We may refuse, suspend, or adjust services where conditions are unsafe, unlawful, unsuitable, or beyond our reasonable control, including adverse weather, aggressive colony behavior, biosecurity concerns, access restrictions, or risks to people, livestock, bees, property, or the environment.
3. User obligations and responsibilities
By engaging our services, you agree that you will:
- Provide accurate, complete, and timely information relevant to the service;
- Ensure safe, lawful, and reasonable access to the site, hives, land, buildings, and equipment areas;
- Obtain and maintain all necessary permissions, consents, landowner approvals, planning permissions, occupier permissions, and any required permits or notifications;
- Disclose known hazards, including allergies, pesticides, livestock, protected species issues, aggressive animals, unstable structures, contamination, and biosecurity concerns;
- Follow our instructions, safety guidance, and biosecurity requirements;
- Ensure that any persons attending with you are supervised and comply with all safety instructions;
- Not interfere with, mishandle, damage, or relocate hives, equipment, bees, honey stores, or associated materials without our written consent;
- Promptly notify us of any change that may affect service delivery.
You are responsible for maintaining suitable insurance where appropriate, including property, public liability, employer, agricultural, and business interruption insurance where relevant to your use of our services.
Where services involve bee stings, live bees, extraction equipment, sharp tools, heat, ladders, vehicles, or agricultural environments, you acknowledge inherent risks and agree to take all reasonable precautions. You must inform us in advance of any relevant medical conditions, allergies, or access requirements.
4. Payment terms and conditions
Fees, deposit requirements, travel charges, equipment charges, and any additional costs will be communicated in a quotation, booking confirmation, invoice, or written agreement. Unless otherwise stated, all amounts are payable in GBP.
- We may require a deposit before confirming a booking;
- Invoices are payable by the due date stated on the invoice;
- Late payments may result in suspension of services, rescheduling, interest, recovery costs, or cancellation of bookings, to the extent permitted by law;
- Any quote is based on the scope described at the time and may change if the scope, timing, access, risk, or location changes;
- Additional work, emergency call-outs, waiting time, consumables, or extraordinary travel may be charged separately;
- All taxes, duties, or statutory charges are payable by the customer unless stated otherwise.
We may suspend services if payment is overdue or if we reasonably believe a chargeback, payment dispute, or fraud risk exists. Unless expressly agreed otherwise, payments are non-transferable.
5. Cancellation and refund policy
Cancellations must be made in writing by email or other confirmed method. Cancellations and refunds are handled according to the service type, lead time, and costs already incurred.
- If you cancel with sufficient notice, we may refund some or all of any advance payment at our discretion, less reasonable non-recoverable costs;
- If you cancel late, fail to provide access, are not present when required, or the site is unsuitable or unsafe, fees may remain payable in full or in part;
- Emergency call-out services, bespoke training sessions, time-sensitive pollination work, and services involving live bees or perishable biological conditions may be non-refundable once scheduled or commenced;
- If we must cancel due to weather, safety, biosecurity, force majeure, or other legitimate operational reasons, we may reschedule the service or issue a refund of unused amounts paid, less reasonable costs already incurred.
Refunds, where due, will be processed using the original payment method where practicable. Any statutory consumer rights that cannot be excluded by law remain unaffected.
6. Liability limitations
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, HoneyHaven Apiaries Ltd shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary losses, including loss of profit, loss of business, loss of goodwill, loss of production, loss of crops, loss of pollination outcomes, loss of honey yield, or loss of opportunity.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Subject to the foregoing, our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the services, whether in contract, tort, negligence, breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, shall be limited to the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim, or such other amount as may be mandatory under applicable law.
You acknowledge that apiculture and bee management involve biological systems, environmental variability, and third-party factors that are not fully controllable. We do not guarantee disease eradication, colony survival, queen acceptance, honey output, pollination success, or immunity from swarming, absconding, parasites, pests, weather damage, vandalism, theft, or environmental contamination.
7. Intellectual property rights
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all intellectual property rights in our materials, training content, methods, templates, documents, reports, photographs, videos, designs, logos, and written guidance remain the property of HoneyHaven Apiaries Ltd or our licensors.

9. Force majeure
We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations where such delay or failure results from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, flood, fire, storm, drought, disease outbreaks, pest infestations, bee health emergencies, road closures, transport disruption, strikes, labour disputes, government action, legal restrictions, power outages, equipment failure, public health incidents, or acts of God.
Where a force majeure event occurs, we may suspend, postpone, or cancel affected services and will use reasonable efforts to resume performance as soon as practicable.
10. Changes to terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect legal, operational, or business changes. The updated Terms will take effect when published or when otherwise communicated to you.
Your continued use of our services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you should stop using our services and contact us regarding any outstanding bookings.
11. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, their subject matter, or formation shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
